Contrasting Weather: North Disturbed, South-West Milder
The weather will be mixed on Thursday with showers from the Hauts de France to the Paris region while the South-West will benefit from a great mildness.
The weather will be disturbed Thursday, April 27 in the north of the country, but the temperatures will be on the rise and the South-West will benefit from a great mildness, forecasts Météo-France. From the start of the day, overcast and slightly rainy weather will set in from Brittany to the north of New Aquitaine, then to Normandy, the Centre-Val-de-Loire and the north of Auvergne in the morning. From Hauts de France to the Paris region, the rains will be scattered at first.
Elsewhere, cloudy periods will be numerous, sometimes accompanied by a few drops in the South-West, while the morning will be calm on the eastern flank. In the afternoon, the regular rains will extend from the northwest of the country to the Belgian border. From the north of New Aquitaine to Bourgogne Franche-Comté and Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, the clouds will clutter the sky and will be accompanied by scattered rain.
Dry Weather in The South
On the other hand, in the south of France, apart from a risk of showers in the east of the Pyrenees, the weather will once again become drier and brighter in a milder atmosphere. Mercury will be rising sharply in the Southwest. Minimum temperatures will drop between 2 and 7 degrees from the Hauts de France to the Grand-Est and Bourgogne Franche-Comté. They will range from 6 to 12 degrees over the rest of the country, and from 10 to 15 degrees from the Aquitaine coast to the edge of the Gulf of Lion.
Maximum temperatures will rise to between 15 and 20 degrees in the northern half as far as Auvergne, they will reach 20 to 25 degrees elsewhere with peaks of 26 degrees in the Southwest.
