Edenred, Standard Ethics assigns “EE” rating
Standard Ethics has assigned the Corporate Standard Ethics Rating (SER) “EE” to Edenred, a company that offers corporate welfare benefits by integrating payment solutions for sectors such as food and mobility. This is the sixth notch out of nine (in the “Strong” range) on the scale used by the independent rating agency based in London and focused on sustainability.
Analysts write that the French company appears aligned with the ESG strategies shared by supranational bodies and adopts an advanced Sustainability governance system as demonstrated by the structure of Sustainability policies. The qualitative and quantitative composition of the apical body is appreciable, attentive to the principles of independence, gender equality and internationality.
Progress is expected both in relation to the availability and consultation of the policies on the corporate website and in the use of more appropriate terminology, reducing ambiguity and confusion between the concept of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), centered on the stakeholder theory, and the notion of Sustainability, an objective and measurable matter through a systemic approach based on the indications of the UN, OECD and EU.
