Poll: Sharp Drop In The Popularity Of Emmanuel Macron And Élisabeth Borne

The poll also revealed an increase in distrust of Emmanuel Macron 71% (+8 points), of which 43% do not “trust the head of state at all”. The score “remains below the December 2018 record when more than half of French people said they had no confidence in him at all with 51%”, notes the polling institute quoted by BFMTV. The fall in confidence in the Head of State shows a sharp decline among his voters in the first round of 2022: 68%, a drop of 13 points. As for Elisabeth Borne, 69% (+6 points) of the French do not trust her “to face the main problems facing the country”.
